What’s New For the 2025 Nissan Armada?

The Nissan Armada has long reigned as the automaker’s largest and most capable full-size SUV platform. For the new model year, the Armada is getting a makeover that will open up a new segment of more adventurous potential buyers. So, what’s new for the 2025 Nissan Armada? First, the entire 2025 Armada has been completely redesigned with a bolder exterior, a revised engine lineup and a new off-road trim grade. Our team put together a few notes outlining some of the most exciting new features.

New Adventure-Ready PRO-4X Trim

Nissan introduced the PRO-4X trim grade for the first time on the Frontier midsize pickup truck. For 2025, the all-new Armada is joining the PRO-4X family. This adventure-ready trim grade is equipped with an electronic locking rear differential, 20-inch all-terrain tires and a metal underbody skid plate.

As exciting as all of those features are, the new Adaptive Electronic Air Suspension System really steals the show. Owners will be able to raise the ride height of the 2025 Nissan Armada by more than 2 inches to clear obstacles. Additionally, the all-new Armada can offer more generous angles for off-road driving.

Upgraded Engine and Performance

When the 2025 Nissan Armada arrives at the Barrie Nissan showroom, an all-new engine platform will be installed under the hood. Instead of the traditional V-8, our manufacturing partner has opted for a twin-turbocharged 3.5-litre V-6 that will produce 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. The smaller, more power-dense engine produces an additional 25 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque compared to the outgoing engine.

Additionally, future owners of the 2025 Armada will be able to tow up to 3,855 kg (8,500 lbs.) when the redesigned SUV is properly equipped with a Class IV tow hitch and seven-pin harness. These accessories are standard on all trim grades. Trailer Blind Spot Monitoring is also standard across the trim ladder.
